What is Permanent Makeup?

Permanent make up is also known as cosmetic tattooing or micropigmentation. Specially made pigment is implanted in to the skin to give the look of everyday cosmetics with a longlasting ,smudge free, waterproof result. Like tattoos, the pigment is placed in the dermis, making it last. However these pigments are designed to fade making them semi-permanent which allows some adjustment to the shape and tone later on if desired. Depending on the procedure the result may last from 1-5 years before needing a color boost.

How long does Powder Brows or Microblading Last?

The results of the procedure can last for years depending on different factors- A younger and/or oilier skin will flush out the pigment faster. Sun damage turns over skin cells and the pigment in it faster etc.
You can look at it like a hair color that fades and needs a color boost every now and then, it just takes much longer for Permanent Make Up to fade.

Is Cosmetic Tattoo Painful?

In short, No.

After applying the first pass of pigment, I will use secondary numbing for the rest of the procedure and everything will be a breeze.

Only less than 10% of the people show slight sensitivity towards the first pass.

For eyeliner, I will be using numbing cream from start to finish.

Will Cosmetic Tattoo look natural?

In short, yes.

Cosmetic tattooing is more forgiving than one would think. The implanting of the pigment is done through layering. After wiping off of the first pass there will be barely anything there. Think of it like a mug of black coffee-if you look into it it’s black, but if you scoop a spoon full then it’s pretty transparent, same is with the implanting of the pigment.
Once it starts showing some saturation, this is where I will be giving you a mirror to hold and involving you in the process every step of the way, including how dark you want them and re-consulting tiny adjustments to shape, etc for the optimal most natural look that you would like to see in your dream brows.

Would I need re-occuring procedures?

After the initial procedure, it’s normal to have a perfecting session around the 2-month mark to make adjustments where needed after the healing process. This session is normally part of the package deal and is cheaper than the initial procedure. As an average after these 2 procedures, the results should last somewhere between 1-5 years.
After a while, you will notice that the pigment is starting to fade or change color due to different factors, such as metabolism, blood circulation, the medications you are taking, lifestyle, age, and time itself. This is when it’s a good time to come back and get a top-up to boost and/or correct the color.

How long does Microblading, Powder Brows or other Cosmetic Tattoo take?

As on average the initial appointment takes around 2-3 hours. There is an exception for it to take a little longer, so it’s always good to carve out a bit of extra time in your day to just come and get treated with no time limits.

Will it bruise or swell?

Can do ,but its only in rare cases that its notable. More often then not there can be some redness in the treated area that should settle down in a day or 2 and minimal swelling that can barely be seen with the naked eye.

Is there any aftercare involved??

Yes. Very straightforward easy to follow aftercare is part of the healing processe to ensure optimal results. Instructions and all the products you need are included in the service for your convinience.

Do I need to have eyebrow hair for it or shave all my hair instead??

You can have eyebrows there already or no eyebrows at all, it doesn’t matter. Permanent Make-Up will accommodate the natural state of your brows and will build on that and the results will look just as natural regardless of this or that.

Is there an age limit?

You have to be over 18 to get them done, other than that everyone is welcome to enjoy some eyebrow magic.
